  • Is there a warranty for my solar technology system?

  • Does the solar technology system need servicing?

    • A solar PV system does not normally need servicing as it has no moving parts and the other components, such as cables and connectors, are designed to withstand environmental conditions. We suggest you routinely visually inspect your system though (from ground level only) and if you notice any damage, we're here to advise you.

A solar thermal system should be serviced annually along with your general boiler service.

Do the solar panels need regular cleaning?

Usually the rain will do all the cleaning needed. If not, just get in touch, selecting the 'solar PV' option.

  • I want to know more about cavity wall insulation

    • How will I know if my property is suitable for cavity wall insulation?

If your property was built between 1932 and 1982 then you are likely to have cavity walls. If the thickness of your wall is greater than 11 inches then the likelihood of the property having a cavity is high.

Is cavity wall insulation work guaranteed?

Yes, our cavity wall insulation has a 25 year guarantee.

How is cavity wall insulation installed?

The insulation is blown in through the holes made in the wall, which are no bigger than 18mm to 25mm. The holes are then filled in afterwards and matched to the existing appearance of your wall. It's all done from the outside, so it will not affect the appearance of the inside of your home.
