When this happens, the kettle has been filled beyond the maximum level indication.
For safety reasons, you should never fill the kettle beyond the MAX indication on your water level indication window.
Make sure the scale filter has been placed correctly as well.

You can use any type of descaling agent to descale the kettle. If you use a descaling agent, follow the instructions on the bottle or package to descale your kettle. We advise you to use white vinegar.

1. Fill the kettle for 75% with vinegar
2. Add water up to the max level
