  • My Hotpoint Washing Machine is Noisy / Unstable

If your Hotpoint washing machine appears noisy or unstable upon using it for the first time you will need to establish whether or not the instructions for installation have been completely adhered to. Noise levels may also vary depending on the weight of the load.
The transit arrangement (brackets or bolts) must be removed by the installer before using your new Hotpoint washing machine. The full instructions on how to do this can usually be found on the first few pages of your users manual / instruction book. The image shown below left is for Hotpoint Washing Machines, other brands and types may vary.

  • My Indesit Washing Machine is Leaking

As part of the manufacturing process we thoroughly test your washing machine to ensure that it will not leak from any internal components after you have installed it. It is therefore likely that any initial leaking either before or during first use will be due to water still remaining in the washing machine following this testing process and not due to an actual leak from any internal components. Before requesting a service engineers' visit please ensure that you check all the external pipework for leaks. Also please make sure that the hose connections to your washing machine andto the taps are secure as shown in the diagram below

  • My Indesit Washing Machine Will Not Empty

If your Indesit Washing Machine empties into an under sink waste system please ensure that the blanked end of the waste spigot has been removed as failure to do this will result in the Indesit Washing Machine refusing to empty.
Check that the waste hose has not become trapped or kinked as this could also result in a failure to empty the waste water outof your Indesit Washing Machine.
