Hi BrisBlacksmith,
I had exactly the same problem as you decribe above and have solved it.
The solution: You MUST make a Window Live account and tell Win Live Mail to log in and stay logged in to that account.
Now you can mail attachments like pictures via the Send To - Mail Recipient in Windows 7.
I encountered this problem when I build serveral new pcs with Win7 64-bit and installed WLM2011.
I could send and recieve mails perfectly. Only when I tried to use the Send To - Mail Recipient in Windows 7 I got the error:
Server: 'smtp.xxxxxxxx.xxx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
I googled for hours. I guy suggested making a Windows Live account. Since I don't need and don't want a Windows Live account I tried that because ALL other solutions had failed.
The pictures that you want to sent automatically make use of SkyDrive. That is probably why you need a Win Live account.
Now I would like to know for the Microsoft Techies if there is a way to make this function work without a Win Live account / SkyDrive?
Googled it: Answer: There is no way to disable SkyBridge. More info here:
