      3. Insert the EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk (CD-ROM) into the computer.
      If the installer is not activated automatically, click [Start], [My Computer], [CD drive], and [setup.exe], in that order.

      Precaution

      (1)RAW Image Task (for RAW image processing) is not included in the ZoomBrowser EX 6.7.2 Updater software. When using RAW Image Task in ZoomBrowser EX 6.6.0d, after installing ZoomBrowser EX 6.7.2 Updater, download and install ZoomBrowser EX 6.1.1a Updater.       Setup

      2.Download zb672upd-en.exe from the download page. Save the zb672upd-en.exe file to a folder of your preference on your computer. 
      3.Double-click the zb672upd-en.exe file. The ZoomBrowser EX installation will start. (If the User Account Control window appears, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.)
      4.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. If ZoomBrowser EX is being installed for the first time, the installation CD prepared in Step 2 will be required.

      Description

      ImageBrowser 6.7.2 Updater is software that will update a previously installed version of ImageBrowser to ImageBrowser 6.7.2. It is necessary that the previous version of your software have been installed when you use this updater on your computer.

      Precaution

      (1) When installing ImageBrowser 6.7.2 Updater, use Digital Photo Professional to develop RAW images. RAW images cannot be edited in ImageBrowser 6.7.2. When editing RAW images, please use Digital Photo Professional. The latest version of Digital Photo Professional can be downloaded separately. For details on the supported models, please check the Digital Photo Professional download pages.
      (2) ImageBrowser 6.7.2 Updater does not include EOS Utility and CamerWindow, the applications used for connecting cameras. When downloading images, please use a memory card, or install EOS Utility or CameraWindow from the CD-ROM bundled with the product (if you wish to connect your camera using a USB cable). The users of ImageBrowser 6.4 can continue using CameraWindow as is. To update ImageBrowser from ImageBrowser 6.3 or earlier, download ImageBrowser 6.5.3 Updater.

      Setup

      Please refer to the following instructions on how to download and install the software. The file to be downloaded is saved as a disk image file.
      1.Check whether ImageBrowser (PowerShot Browser) is already installed on the PC or whether you have the installation CD for any of these applications. 
      2.Download ibx-upd-6-7-2-18-u01-8l.dmg.gz from the download page. Save the ibx-upd-6-7-2-18-u01-8l.dmg.gz file to a folder of your preference on your computer. 
      3.Double-click the ibx-upd-6-7-2-18-u01-8l.dmg.gz. After decompressing the file, IBX_UPD_6_7_2_18_U02_8L.dmg will be created.
      4.Double-click IBX_UPD_6_7_2_18_U02_8L.dmg. A drive named IBX_UPD_672 will automatically be created on the desktop. 
      5.Double-click the UpdateInstaller inside the IBX_UPD_672 drive. The ImageBrowser installation will start. 
      6.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. If ImageBrowser is being installed for the first time, the installation CD prepared in Step 2 will be required. 
      7.After the installation is complete, the ImageBrowser installer may ask to restart the computer. In this case, restart the computer. If the installation is completed properly, the downloaded file and the IBX_UPD_672 file will not be necessary.

      IB 6.6 has functions for processing and displaying RAW images by default and for printing, but these functions can no longer be used with ZB/IB 6.7 and subsequent versions. This is because of the fact that internal JPEG images in RAW images have become high resolution, and it is no longer necessary to use these functions. 

      4. Mac OS 10.4 is no longer supported. Mac OS 10.5 and Mac OS 10.6 are now supported. In addition, only Intel processors are supported.
