      • If the problem is only on calls to or from one number, it’s likely that the fault is with that number
      • If you’re a broadband customer, make sure you’re using a microfilter with every piece of equipment. You need to do this to reduce any noise interference
      • If you’re using a cordless phone, try attaching a corded phone to the socket. If you no longer hear the noise, the error is probably with your cordless phone

      If nothing previously mentioned solves your problem, you can carry out a thorough test to ascertain whether there is a fault on your line.
