Will I immediately benefit from the savings of my new calling plan?

We'll send you a letter confirming that the calling plan has been activated on your account. The letter will also explain the benefits and terms of the calling plan option you have chosen.
If you upgrade at My BT, the changes should take effect within 24 hours of placing the order. However if you apply online through another route it will take longer as we will need to confirm your details before we can place the order.
If you're new to BT any new connections can take up to ten days.
