  • Question

Hazy round spots sometimes appear in a recorded image especially when using the flash. Why does it happen?

    • Answer
    • If there are dust particles floating in the air, they are illuminated by the strong light of the flash, and sometimes appear in a recorded image as round spots. This symptom may generally occur when shooting with the flash, and it is not a malfunction.

      spot2

If this occurs, please shoot without using the flash.

      * If ambient light is not enough, such as when shooting indoors, please increase the ISO sensitivity. Also, please use a tripod or hold the camera steady to prevent camera-shake.
