I tried to use the camcorder with a 3rd party marine pack which controls through A/V Remote Connector, but no image is displayed on the LCD screen of the marine pack.

Some AVCHD Handycams released in 2011 does not output composite video signal when remote-controlled through A/V Remote Connector, thus the image is not displayed on the LCD screen of the marine pack. This is a specification of the camera, not a malfunction.
The camcorders released on 2010 or before, such as HDR-CX115E, will output composite video signal even in this case.
Note: we do not guarantee the operation with a marine pack of other manufacturers.
