  • Question

The Smile Shutter function does not work.

    • Answer
    • [Smile Shutter] does not work for the following situations:

      • When [Face Detection] is set to [Off]
      • When recording movies with frame rate set to [50i]/[FX] or [50p]/[PS]
      • When frame rate is set to [25p] in the movie mode
      • When recording using [Smth Slw REC] (Smooth slow rec), [Golf Shot], [NightShot], or digital zoom.
      • While images are being written in recording media

Smile may not be detected depending on the detection sensitivity. Adjust the sensitivity by selecting [MENU] --> [Camera/Mic] --> (Face icon) --> [Smile Sensitivity].

If you touch a face of a specific person, the camcorder shows a double-lined white frame on it and tracks the person. To cancel, touch the cancel button shown with "X" at the right side of the screen. (The frame color of the target for the smile detection is orange.)
