    When I copy images to the recording medium such as an external hard disk drive (DIRECT COPY function), are there any limits on the numbers of images to be copied?

    • The numbers of movies and still images to be copied to the external media are limited as follows.

      • Movies: Max. 9,999
      • Still images: Max. 9.999 images/899 folders

      Above numbers may decrease depending on the recorded images.

      The numbers of movies and photos to be copied to the external media are limited as follows.

      • High definition image quality (HD) movies: Max. 3,999
      • Standard definition image quality (STD) movies: Max. 9,999
      • Photos: Max. 40,000

      Above numbers may decrease depending on the type of images recorded.
