How do I transfer my BlackBerry Messenger contacts from one BlackBerry to another?

Before you switch to your new phone you can back up your BBM contacts remotely or locally to your memory card.
- Open BBM and select the Menu
then select Options 
Scroll down until you see backup Management. - Select Back Up and select choice of locations to back up to.
When you have switched over to your new phone follow the below to transfer your BBM contacts over.
- Open BBM and select the Menu then select Options
- Scroll down until you see Back Up Management
- Select Restore
- You can restore using email or from your media card
- Open BBM and select the Menu
