- Yes, you can send an MMS from abroad. In order to send an MMS your iPhone will turn data roaming on so other data services like email will be enabled and you may download a significant amount of chargeable data, so be careful when using MMS abroad and check data roaming is off when you have finished sending your MMS message(s).
