How long does it take to charge the battery?

Approximate time (min.) required when you fully charge a fully discharged battery is as follows:

With AC Adaptor:

• NP-FV50 (supplied) : 155 NP-FV70 : 195
• NP-FV100 : 390

With Built-in USB Cable (not using the USB connection support cable)

• NP-FV50 (supplied) : 315
• NP-FV70 : 600
• NP-FV100 : 1050

Times measured with the camcorder at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F). 
10 degrees C to 30 degrees C (50 degrees F to 86 degrees F) is recommended.

It takes about 270 minutes to fully charge the supplied battery pack which is normally discharged.

• The above time may vary depending on the remaining battery or battery condition.
• It may take longer to charge the battery when the temperature is low. Charge the battery in the environment between 10 and 30 degrees C, or warm up the camera or battery and charge the battery. or while transferring data.
• When you use the battery for the first time or you have not used for a long time, fully charge the battery.
