I connected the camcorder to the computer, but the battery cannot be charged.

    • Answer
    • Check the following:

      • Disconnect the USB cable from the computer and connect it firmly again.
      • Turn off the camcorder and close the LCD screen. The battery is not charged if the camcorder is turned on. Also the battery may not be charged if the LCD screen is open.
      • If the computer is in the Standby mode, the battery may not be charged. Make sure the computer is not in the Standby mode.
      • USB connection may not be successful if you connect the USB cable before turning on the computer. Always turn on the computer first, wait until it can be operated, then connect the camcorder.
      • If the computer is a notebook type, use the AC adaptor for the power supply for the computer.
      • If the camera is heated, the battery may not be charged. If the problem persists even if you try the above, the camcorder may need to be repaired.
