  • Question

Adjust 50 Hz Video Output settings

    • Answer
    • [50 Hz Video Output] is an option under Settings > [Video Settings].

Set this option if you want to output 50 Hz content (in HD resolution) at 50 Hz. This setting can only be used with video content that is saved on the hard disk or storage media.

Automatic: Adjust the playback method to use the PS3 system's output frequency (59.94 Hz), regardless of the frequency used to record the content.
50 Hz: Play the video content at 50 Hz or 59.94 Hz frequency, depending on the frequency that was used to record the content.

      Hint
When this option is set to [50 Hz], the screen display may flash or be distorted each time the frequency changes.
