How do I activate my iPhone 3GS?

- Before you start using your iPhone, it must be activated by connecting it to iTunes. The phone will prompt you to do this.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes fromwww.itunes.com/download
Connect iPhone to a USB port on your Mac or PC using the cable that came with iPhone.
Follow the onscreen instructions in iTunes to register iPhone and sync iPhone with your contacts, calendars, and bookmarks on your computer, and with music, video, and other content from your iTunes library.
You will be prompted to download the Vodafone UK network settings (carrier settings) - these must be accepted to ensure the iPhone installs correctly.
You need to have an active internet connection when activating your iPhone.
