How do I connect my iPhone to a Wi-Fi network when I'm out and about?

    • Answer
    • You can use Wi-Fi at any BT Openzone Premium hotspot while you're out and about. You'll find these hotspots in many public places like hotels, conference venues, airports, main rail stations, motorway service areas as well as in retail areas such as Starbucks.

To connect to Wi-Fi follow these simple steps:

      1. First you'll need your vodafone.co.uk username and password. If you have not already registered or have forgotten your details go towww.vodafone.co.uk/wifi to register
      2. Make sure you're in a BT Openzone Premium hotspot with Wi-Fi turned ON. The BT Openzone network name (SSID) will appear in your Wi-Fi networks list
      3. Tap Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi and then select the BT Openzone network by tapping it
      4. You will be presented with the BT Openzone web page asking you to select your mobile provider. Tap the Vodafone logo
      5. Next, you will be presented with the Vodafone login web page where you need to input your vodafone.co.uk username and password (go to www.vodafone.co.uk/wifi if you have not already registered or have forgotten your details). Your iPhone will store these details as one of your authorised access points and automatically connect to any BT Openzone Premium hotspot whenever it is in range.
