    I'm moving from a home with a Pay as you go meter: what do I do?

      We need

      • your moving date
      • an up-to-date meter reading, find out how to get your meter reading
      • your new address
      • the name of the new occupier, landlord or letting agent (if possible)
      • if you have an outstanding balance on your meter

      We recommend that you try to use any credit remaining on your meter before you move out.

      If you don't owe any money, you can leave your old card or key. Just let us know when you've moved so we can close your accounts.
