how to set up email on your BlackBerry 9780 - existing Orange BlackBerry users

email addresses ending in @blackberry.orange.co.uk only
If you have an email address ending in @blackberry.orange.co.uk we need you to call us to have this account transferred across to the new handset. Before calling please make you have the following details to hand.
- PIN and IMEI from the new BlackBerry device. These can be found on the side of the box your phone came in.
- the full email address i.e johnsmith@blackberry.orange.co.uk

all other email account types
You need to setup your email account as a new user, to do this you need to create a new BlackBerry® Internet Service account. Follow the instructions below.
open the applications tray
click the Setup icon
click the email accounts icon
click Internet Mail Account. The phone will now connect to the email setup wizard.
check you are happy with the terms and conditions and then click yes, then I agree
click the type of email account you are adding
complete the email address and Password for the account and click Continue
you will now be able to configure the detailed settings for this account, once complete clickContinue
your BlackBerry will now synchronise, once complete click OK to finish.
you will now be able to add another email account or click Return to Setup to exit.
Once you have set up your email on your new phone you should then perform a master reset on the old device, for instructions on how to do this on your BlackBerry click the relevant link below.

adding an additional email account
open the applications tray
click the Setup icon
click the email accounts icon
the phone will now connect to the email setup wizard.
click Set up another email account
click the type of email account you are adding
complete the email address and Password for the account and click continue
you will now be able to configure the settings for this account, once complete click Return to Setup to finish.
