how to setup email on your BlackBerry Torch - existing Orange BlackBerry users

email addresses ending in @blackberry.orange.co.uk only

If you have an email address ending in @blackberry.orange.co.uk we need you to call us to have this account transferred across to the new handset. Before calling please make you have the following details to hand.

• PIN and IMEI from the new BlackBerry device. These can be found on the side of the box your phone came in. 
• the full email address i.e johnsmith@blackberry.orange.co.uk

all other email account types

You need to setup your email account as a new user, to do this you need to create a new BlackBerry® Internet Service account. Follow the instructions below.

1. open the applications tray

2. tap the Setup icon

3. tap the email accounts icon

4. tap Internet Mail Account. The phone will now connect to the email setup wizard.

5. check you are happy with the terms and conditions and then tap yes, then I agree

6. tap the type of email account you are adding

7. complete the email address and Password for the account and tap Continue

8. you will now be able to configure the detailed settings for this account, once complete tapContinue

9. your BlackBerry will now synchronise, once complete tap OK to finish.

10. you will now be able to add another email account or tap Return to Setup to exit.

adding an additional email account

1. open the applications tray

2. tap the Setup icon

3. tap the email accounts icon

4. the phone will now connect to the email setup wizard.

5. tap Set up another email account

6. tap the type of email account you are adding

7. complete the email address and Password for the account and tap continue

8. you will now be able to configure the settings for this account, once complete tap Return to Setupto finish.
