If you’re expecting to see subtitles when you watch Sky TV, but they’re missing from your screen, check that the programme you’re watching offers subtitles – not all shows do – then check that you have switched the service on. Press sky, then i on your Sky remote control and you should see the letter S displayed on the information panel that appears. If it’s not there, the programme you’re currently watching does not carry subtitles.
If an S is displayed, press help on your Sky remote control while watching the programme to bring up the subtitles and audio description options. You can toggle these settings using the left/right arrows on your Sky remote, before pressing select to save your new settings and return to the programme you're watching.
