    problem with the Livebox set-up CD

    • It's been brought to our attention that our Livebox set-up CD (version 1.4 or 1.5) isn't compatible with the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player. If you've installed Flash version 9, it's likely that buttons on the CD don't work correctly on your computer. We're currently working on a solution; however in the meantime we've provided a couple of options below, which will allow you to connect your Livebox to the Internet using the CD, or via a manual process.

      using the CD

      • insert the Livebox installation CD into your computer - the CD will load
      • hover your mouse pointer over the Install Livebox for the first time button - the pointer will turn to a hand
      • click once on Install Livebox for the first time

      • the button will become highlighted, however nothing will happen - don't worry!
      • move your mouse pointer down into the area just below the button you've just clicked (as below)
      • the pointer will change to an arrow

      • click once to move to the next screen

      You'll need to repeat the above process for all buttons on the Livebox CD, i.e.

      • click to highlight
      • hover down
      • click again

      Please note: it's important that you don't click more than once on a button. If you do, and the steps above don't work, you may need to remove the CD, and start again.

      uninstall Flash Player 9 as a temporary measure 

      If you prefer, you can uninstall Flash Player 9, then re-install once you've completed Livebox installation. You can do this following the instructions below:

      • click Start
      • click Control Panel
      • click Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features if you're using Vista)
      • click on Adobe Flash Player 9 Active X
      • click Change/ Remove
      • try loading the Livebox installation CD again
